As an employee of Sun Life, you, your dependents, and covered family members will receive an objective, unbiased, resource to coordinate an expert medical review and guide you through your healthcare challenges. We save you time and help you avoid unnecessary or inappropriate procedures.

A Personal Health Advisor provides the following support services:

  • Facilitate an expert medical opinion/confirmation of diagnosis
  • Research the specific medical diagnosis and treatment options
  • Customize a report identifying top local, regional, or national specialists
  • Expedite an appointment with a top specialist or Centers of Excellence
  • Gather, organize, and forward key medical records  to providers

We never report or share Members’ information of any kind back to an employer. We are bound by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), a law that protects patient medical and health information. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us.
